KindredGospel is operated by Dynamic Design and Manufacturing LLC. This policy explains what information KindredGospel collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using KindredGospel, you agree to this policy.
Information you give us
- Account details: your name, email address, password (stored as a secure hash), and optional denomination.
- Content you share: prayer requests, comments, posts, events, photos and videos, testimonies, group posts, church listings and church requests.
- Private messages you send to friends.
- Settings such as notification preferences and your time zone.
Information collected automatically
- Location: only when you tap “Near me” in the church finder. It is used to find nearby churches and is not saved to your account.
- Notification tokens if you turn on push notifications.
- Basic usage and device information (such as browser type and pages visited) to keep the app working and secure.
- Cookies and similar technologies, including those used by our advertising partners (see below).
How we use your information
- To run KindredGospel: show your content to the people you choose, deliver messages and notifications, and track reading plans.
- To keep the community safe: text and photos are checked automatically (using AI service providers) for nudity, hate, threats, scams and spam, and may be reviewed by our moderators. Reported content and private messages that are reported are reviewed by moderators.
- To show advertising that helps keep KindredGospel free.
- To respond to you and to comply with the law.
Who can see what you share
You choose the audience for each prayer request (everyone, friends only, or your church) and can hide your name. Community posts and testimonies are public. Group posts are visible to group members. Private messages are visible only to you and the recipient, unless reported to moderators.
Advertising and cookies
KindredGospel shows ads from Google AdSense. Google and its partners use cookies to serve ads based on your visits to this and other websites. You can learn how Google uses data at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites and opt out of personalized ads at adssettings.google.com. Visitors in the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland are asked for consent before personalized ads are shown.
Service providers
We use trusted providers to host the app and its data, send notifications, check content for safety, show maps and church locations (OpenStreetMap), play embedded videos (YouTube), and show ads (Google). They may process your information only to provide these services. We do not sell your personal information.
Keeping and deleting your information
We keep your information while your account is active. You can edit your profile in Settings and remove your posts. You can delete your account and its data anytime in Settings → Delete my account, or ask us through our Contact page. Removed content may remain in backups for a limited time.
Children
KindredGospel is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child under 13 has created an account, please contact us and we will delete it.
Security
We use reasonable safeguards such as securely hashed passwords and secure connections, but no online service can be completely secure.
