What we believe

KindredGospel welcomes Christians of every tradition. We gather around the faith Christians have confessed together for centuries, summarized in the Apostles' Creed:

I believe in God, the Father Almighty, Maker of heaven and earth:

And in Jesus Christ his only Son our Lord; who was conceived by the Holy Ghost, born of the Virgin Mary; suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, dead, and buried; he descended into hell; the third day he rose again from the dead; he ascended into heaven, and sitteth on the right hand of God the Father Almighty; from thence he shall come to judge the quick and the dead.

I believe in the Holy Ghost; the holy catholic Church; the communion of saints; the forgiveness of sins; the resurrection of the body; and the life everlasting. Amen.

“Catholic” here means the universal Church — all believers in Christ, in every place and age. Some traditions say “he descended to the dead”; both express the same historic confession.

We also hold that the Bible is the inspired Word of God, that salvation is by God's grace through faith in Jesus Christ, and that every person is made in God's image and deeply loved by Him.

How we live together

“In essentials, unity; in non-essentials, liberty; in all things, charity.”

• Non-denominational means everyone is welcome — Baptist, Catholic, Pentecostal, Methodist, Orthodox, non-denominational and more. KindredGospel doesn't take sides on the differences between churches.
• Discuss differences with respect. Attacking other believers, churches or traditions isn't allowed.
• Pray for one another, encourage one another, and bear one another's burdens (Galatians 6:2).

KindredGospel is not a church

KindredGospel is a place to connect — it doesn't replace your local church. We encourage everyone to belong to a local church family where you can worship, serve and be cared for in person. Find a church near you.
